Many of our prices haven't changed in many years, even though all of our expenses have gone up around us. We try to keep our prices as low as possible, and we don't like raising our prices on our customers. Since we keep our prices so low, we cannot discount them any further, as we still have to pay our technicians to go out and service our customers. With this being said, our rental customers have an ongoing deal where anyone they refer who ends up installing a water system with us will give the referrer one month for free. There is no limit on referrals or free months.
No. You can stop service at any time. Most of our customers don't choose to stop service once they try us, but if you need to move or stop service for any reason there is no penalty. There is a small installation fee, and then it's month to month after that.
No. The monthly price you are initially quoted is the price. You will not be getting any surprises months down the line. The prices are very straight forward and not meant to trick anyone. We pride ourselves on giving our customers a good service for a good price.
The reverse osmosis process starts with water being forced through a filter or membrane in a reversal of the natural process of osmosis. In nature, the less concentrated solution (water free of minerals, for example) will move to dilute solutions with higher concentrations. Tiny holes in the membrane let water move past. However, compounds such as fluoride that are bigger than water molecules become trapped, according to the Water Quality Association. Water from the higher concentration solution moves through the filter to a solution of lower concentration, resulting in water free of particles, minerals and other contaminants (Credit: ehow.com). Filters like Brita, Pur, and the like cannot remove fluoride, as they do not really purify the water.
Moving is no problem. We can come out and get the unit and reinstall it in your new apartment. We ask that you give us two weeks notice when you have to move, as our technicians are in different areas on different days of the week. If you live in LA and they are working down in San Diego that day, they can't physically get to you. Please let us know ahead of time.
The pressure should be 5-7 lbs in the tank when empty. If the tank has any water in it, the tank will not pressurize right. We take care of this for you with your service, but have had several customers ask.
Yes, we absolutely do. We offer a wide variety of specialty spigots. Call our office to give us more information, and we can help you find the perfect spigot to match your fixtures and appliances.
Most water softeners work by removing the calcium and magnesium in the water. The systems are installed to be whole home units and will make your water feel better when washing and might leave less residue on dishes or laundry. This does not mean that your water will be cleaner or taste better. There are still some contaminants in water even with a water softener.
Feel free to give our offices a call. We have staff available Mon-Fri from 9 am to 5 pm. You can also leave us a message at any time, and we will return your call to answer any and all questions.
